HU-LINC Mentor
Informal Interview Process

After your application and principal support form are submitted, you will  be invited to participate in a 20-minute interview to be scheduled prior to the start of the next school year.  The interview committee of at least three persons  is selected from HU-LINC specialists, staff, and district curriculum coordinators.

Final selections of mentors will be made after interviews are completed.  The following guiding questions will help you to prepare for the interview.

  1. What qualities do you believe that you bring to the HU-LINC program?
  2. What benefits do you anticipate from participation as a HU-LINC mentor?
  3. In what ways have you contributed to your school's overall goals?
  4. Describe the professional development experience that is most influential in your current work.

Actual interview questions may vary, including follow-up questions to your responses.  You will also have an opportunity to ask questions about the program before your interview is completed.
