HU-LINC (Houston Urban Learning in a Networked Community is soliciting professional development opportunities of at least 30 hours in length, in mathematics and science for middle school (6-8th grade) teachers or elementary school teachers during the summer, fall, and spring semesters.  The following form must be completed and submitted online to be considered for any funding through HU-LINC.   Deadlines for submission are: 
Fall 2003 Extended to May 1, 2003
Spring 2004 November 7, 2003
Summer 2004  Approx Dec. 1, 2003

The following application will be reviewed for teacher needs and qualities of offering for MIDDLE SCHOOL or ELEMENTARY level.  You must indicate appropriate content area for Middle School or Elementary, based upon grade level of offering.   Please provide the following information:  (Refer to RFP Description for explanation of items requested.)

Coursework consumables are included in the $500/teacher allocation.  Teacher take-home classroom materials of $250/teacher will be reimbursed by receipt, following completion of the course offering.
